The Design Process
The steps from preliminary design to a complete project are time consuming and error prone. Architects Virtual Cloud has crafted a way to reduce the time required and assure more accurate information. The Architect, Contractor or Designer creates a 2D plan using our custom designer interface. 3D Views of the structure are automatically created to enable more realistic evaluation of the design.
The Cost and Material Estimate Process
Bill of Materials and Cost Estimates are automatically created. The materials information such as price per unit are collected in real-time from our partners, such as Home Depot. The real-time nature of the process allows the user to give clients quick feedback as to price and as adjustments are made to the project there is no need to manually change estimates and bids since that process is automatically accomplished by AVC.
The Construction Drawing & Submittal Process
The Construcion drawing process is reduced to a minimum by automatically creating plans, sections, elevations, and other elements. Dimensions and keynotes are also included. Any changes to the 2D plan will update all the associated drawings making re-submittals to the Building Department simple and efficient.
The Construction Process
Workers can view in 3D the various building elements with zooming, dimension and note viewing capability. The model can be viewed from a desktop, laptop, tablet or smart phone providing on-site flexibility.
The End Result
Architects and Designers can create quick design options for client presentations using 2D drawing methods but getting 3D viewing results and cost estimates. For Contractor the bidding process will be vastly quicker and more accurate and the construction process will enhanced by 3D onsite viewing of the project components.
